Sealants

Sealants are used to fill in narrow grooves and/or pits in the teeth that cannot be adequately cleaned by brushing. These grooves and pits may develop cavities over time. In order to prevent the grooves and pits from accumulating plaque, we can brush on a coating that seals the grooves and pits, making it possible to brush off all the plaque and keep your teeth healthy. Although usually placed in children's teeth, sealants may also be placed in adult teeth.
